Minimalist Photography Awards: Portfolio Entry ‘Ingress’ receives Honourable Mention

Delighted to announce that my submission to The Minimalist Photography Awards has resulted in my Portfolio Entry ‘Ingress’ being awarded an Honourable Mention in the Landscape category.

‘Ingress’ is a series of photographs depicting beauty in a benign encounter between photographer, the land and the sea, but with a dystopian narrative concerning our future in the face of climate change. The minimal nature of the images, with their graphic elements set against large expanses of water and sky help convey the precarious nature of our situation as we face the calamitous, potentially overwhelming power of rising sea levels. This may ultimately make ‘Ingress’ not landscapes of beauty but a threat to our way of life.
